Course Description:
This year-long course prepares students to speak and write in English settings of an academic context. Common skills and genres pertained to spoken and written modes will be introduced. They include but not limit to description, process, cause and effect, problem and solution, and argumentation. Students will learn and practice these spoken and written skills through a range of content-based activities. The topics will cover a wide range of disciplines, such as education, humanities and societies, as well as technologies.
